Chart of Accounts

Functionality

Use this function to set up the Chart of Accounts at the system.

Open your Backoffice system and follow this path: Financial-> Chart of Accounts.

Press the Add New button.

In the fields:

Account Number: Set this field so that it can be identified later. Example: 1, 12345, 00010;

Type: This is the account type and defined by accounting standards;

Account name: Set the account name according to accounting standards;

Start Balance:  Once set,  you won’t be able to modified in the future. The only thing that changes is the current balance of the account that can be checked in the reports.
Remember that after setting the initial account balance here and making reconciliations, it is no longer allowed to change the opening balance. Example: If you  add  a new  account today from any bank in the system and inform that the current  balance is 1000 dollars, for example, why would you need to change the opening balance within 30 days? Your balance on today’s date (opening balance) will always be 1000 dollars.

Last Conciliation: This information is provided from the system when you last reconciled the account;

Balance on Last Conciliation: Same thing as above;

Parent Account: Used to define sub-accounts.
