 Gift Card is a prepaid stored-value money card, usually issued by a retailer or bank, to be used as an alternative to cash for purchases within a particular store or related businesses.

Follow the steps below to create  Gift Card

 

1) Payment method Gift Card.

File> Settings> Tenders

1.1) Description : Gift Card

1.2) Type : Gift Card

1.3) Qty : 1

1.4) Order : 1

1.5) Mark the options

  • Open cash drawer.
  • If is to Receive, check the balance prior the sale.

2) Product Gift Card

File> Items> Products and Services

Press the  Add New button

2.1) Description : Gift Card

2.2) Type : Gift Card

2.3) Qty/ CS : 0

2.4) Group : Outros

2.5) Register the values that you regularly sell . Eg. $10 ; $15; $20 $25

2.6) Press the  Save Button.

2.7) Now your POS system is ready to sell Gift Cards

3) At POS: First choose the amount that will be put on the Gift Card (Green Arrow)

3.1)  Then type Gift Card and press the LOOK UP button

4) Scan the Serial

5) Payment method  Gift Card
